The summer is slowly approaching. The sun hasn’t been showing for longer periods and the rain doesn’t show any signs of stopping, the clouds are still hanging in the sky.
But we optimists don’t give up! We dream of undiscovered places in our neighbourhood. We dream of a warm sea anywhere. To feel the water flood our soles, to be able to smell salt and pine trees. My suitcase is already packed. I only need to find my passport. It must be all dusty from all the waiting!
My Kindle is full of new books that I’m already looking forward to reading. Swimwear, towel, sunscreen – this is my kind of holiday.
I just have to print all the receipts and off I go.

When I return, I hope that the weather will ease and I will be able to discover another corner of Slovenia that’s unknown to me. I’m already gathering ideas. Slovenia is beautiful, very beautiful. I still have a lot of unconquered hills left. I hope I climb a mountain or two this year as well.
I have quite an extensive list. Well, I don’t want to go around and hike and cycle everything this year. If it doesn’t happen this year, then next year. There’s joy in anticipation, right?
I wish for all of us to have a good holiday, lots of relaxed hours and carefree chats. Let’s recharge our batteries and get ready for new victories. My tireless sewing machines will get serviced in the meantime so that when I come back I can sew again and pamper you.
