Why a clothing collection?
When I was a young mother I always wanted something cute for my kids. If I wanted to have something special, I asked my mother, who was a master of sewing. Unfortunately, at that time there was no abundance of fabric in interesting patterns and colours. It was very difficult to find something cute and sweet.
When my kids were still babies, I adored folding T-shirts that tied at the back and were part of the newborn package Dressing the baby was easy because you simply put the T-shirt on the baby’s arms and tied it at the back. Because the baby was much more comfortable while dressing and cried less I really liked tying the straps that way. That is why the collection of children’s clothes made of jersey was created. The straps on my beloved tetra shirts that served me so well as a young mother, were replaced by silk ones.
Today, baby clothes are a hit and there are so many of them. I have to admit that I have quite a few problems with the terminology. Rompers, baggy pants – how many new terms! However, I am learning and getting to know new trends in baby dressing. Z veseljem opazujem, da udobje vse bolj pridobiva na pomenu v primerjavi z oblačili, ki sicer res izgledajo lepo, a zaradi zapletenega oblačenja, ki razdraži dojenčka, prepogosto ostanejo v omari.
And what is new this autumn? I became the proud owner of a new overlock machine that will make sewing even easier. It’s already doing overtime.
